Hi, I’m Cher. I don’t remember much about the day my world changed — I was just a tiny pup when it happened. My siblings and I were found alone at a nursery in South Miami after something terrible: our mom had been killed. We were too young to survive on our own, but somehow, we held on until help arrived.

The rescue scooped us up just in time. We were weak, hungry, and scared. We didn’t have a mother to nurse us, but we were given a second chance — this time, in the arms of humans who bottle-fed us, around the clock, like we were their own. They became our lifeline.

Since then, I’ve grown into a strong, healthy, and super wiggly girl. I’m medium-sized with legs made for running and a spirit made for play. I love to chase toys, bounce around the yard, and wrestle with my dog friends. I’m athletic and full of energy, but I also know how to settle in and snuggle up when it’s time to rest. And when I wag — oh, I wag with my whole body. That’s just how I do things — all in, all heart.

My brother has been adopted, and while I’m so happy for him, I can’t help but wonder when it’ll be my turn. I’ve been through a lot, but I’m still full of love, joy, and hope.
