Hi, I’m Eddy — a sweet, wobbly little guy who’s just starting to learn what love feels like.

I was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in South Florida — a place where no one took care of me, and no one noticed when my health started to slip. When I was pulled from that life, I had horribly painful, deep ear infections that had been left untreated for so long, I’ve now lost most of my hearing.

I also struggle with my balance. I do a little bit of circling when I walk, and I need extra caution in places like around pools or uneven areas. I may be a little neurologically affected — my rescue is still working with the vet to understand exactly what’s going on. But even with my challenges, I’m so full of love and joy.

I get so excited to be with people. I light up when I get to run around in the yard, and I’m happiest when I’m by your side. I’m a sweet, medium-sized guy who just wants to be someone’s shadow. I may not hear well, and I may be a little unsteady, but I’m full of personality and heart.
