HI, I AM SPARTACUS
RESCUED FROM: INJURED STRAY
Hi! My name is Spartacus, and if you’re reading this, I hope it means my story is about to take a beautiful turn.
I wasn’t born on the streets—I had a home once. But one day, I found myself out in the world, alone. No collar, no microchip, and no one calling my name. I wandered, confused and hungry, until I found a kind human feeding some neighborhood cats. They welcomed me to their porch, and for the first time in a while, I felt a little bit safe.
But then something awful happened—I was attacked by a dog. It came out of nowhere, and the injuries were devastating. My jaw was shattered, my body covered in deep, painful wounds, and I was in more pain than I could ever imagine. Yet through it all… I still purred. I still reached for human hands with my head. I still made biscuits with my big, soft polydactyl paws. I didn’t give up on love.
I was taken in by a rescue and underwent an intense, life-saving surgery to repair my jaw. The healing hasn’t been easy, but I’ve been so brave—and I’ve never stopped being sweet. Now that I’m finally out of the woods, I’m looking for the kind of home every cat dreams of. A forever home. A family who sees me not as “damaged,” but as someone strong, loving, and worthy.
I’m an adult orange tabby—neutered, vaccinated, and completely house-friendly. I get along well with other cats, and I’m gentle and affectionate with humans. I don’t have a mean bone in my body. I’m also FIV positive, but don’t worry—this just means I need a loving home with educated owners and properly vetted cat companions. I can live a full, happy, healthy life with regular vet care and lots of love.
So if you’ve been looking for a resilient, loving, and endlessly sweet companion—look no further. I’ve survived the worst, and I’m still soft, still hopeful, still full of purrs. I’m just waiting for someone to see me… and choose me.
With love, courage, and quiet hope, Spartacus
